9/19: I have added two points to everybody's first exam score to compensate for question 38. Ionic bonds involve the transfer of electrons. But after those electrons are transferred it does create polar molecules. Thank your fellow student who was really on the ball for catching this!

10/10: The second exam will cover metabolism through genetics.

10/24: Much of the next several lectures on Darwin and evolution are not covered in your text. Therefore, it is essential you come to class and take good notes.

11/4: The third exam will cover chapters 8, 9 and 16.

11/9: Grading Options: November 14, 8:50 am is last day you may change your grading option. No exceptions.

11/17: Note I have moved the chapters on ecology up and moved the chapter on origin of life to the last lecture.  

11/23: A few students have not registered their iClicker. Here is a list of students that have registered theirs. If you are not on this list you need to email me your course number, name, ID and iClicker number.

11/30: The final exam is on Monday December 12, 8:30 - 10:00 am. Approximately a third will cover chapters 17, 26, 27, 28, 29 and two thirds will be comprehensive.
