8/23: I have prepared hand outs for the microscope lab and also the preliminary data collection for the cladistics lab for the second week. Be sure to print out and bring the microscope lab to the fist lab and complete the cladistics exercise prior to the second lab.

8/28: I have prepared an Excel spreadsheet for the the Cladistics preliminary data. If you know how to use Excel you may find this much easier to work with and I suggest bringing it to lab on a laptop if you have one. Click here to download.

8/31: The final cladistics laboratory exercise is now available here. Note, I have adopted a standard order for the taxa in the data matrix on page one. Prior to lab transfer your original data to it. Be sure to double check it after you do so. Do not proceed past step one. We will complete the exercise in lab. You may hand it your original data matrix at the beginning of lab. No need to re-do it.

10/15: Second exam will be Oct. 22 and cover from Phylum Lycophyta through Angiosperm seeds (except ferns).

10/29: Videos on Intelligent Design trial.  Worksheet for Intelligent Design (ID) trial: Click here to download as a pdf file. It is due December 1st at the  beginning of the lab. Questions from this material will occur on next exam.

11/15: I will not have regular office hours on Wednesday, Nov. 17. Email me if you would like to schedule an alternate time.

12/9: Final exam is Monday Dec. 13, 8:30 - 10:00 am. Lab book is due at the final.
