issues, this is definitely worth doing. First, read the Introduction and the Glossary of terms. (4) 1. Ecolabeling and Green Procurement are two related ideas. Describe them. How can they help reduce the negative environmental impacts of consumption? (4) 2. Extended Producer Responsibility and Product Take Back are also related concepts. Explain what they mean. Discuss one product that you use that you would like to see these concepts applied to, and explain why. Choose one of the topics (the list from appliances to bicycles) that interests you or applies to you and your lifestyle. Answer the following questions. (4) 3. What are the major environmental impacts (i.e. air pollution, water pollution, toxic compounds that effect human health, loss of wildlife habitat, etc.). resulting from the production, consumption, and/or disposal of the product? Summarize in your own words. (2) 4. What are some of the encouraging trends or changes taking place that will lessen the negative environmental impacts from the product you just discussed? (2) 5.
