Please buy the Course pack- World of Biology Laboratory Workbook, and bring it to class every time! You must have a clean copy- no used copies- to turn in the work pages. It will be helpful if you bring a calculator to class.

You will have a 10 point quiz every week, starting week 2, on the previous week’s material.  The lowest quiz grade is dropped.  Each week's lab worksheets are worth 10 points, and they are due up front at the beginning of class.  Plan on attending every class period! If you miss a lab, you should get the information from your lab partner, turn in your worksheets, and prepare to take the quiz.

The final is a 25 point optional lab practical for which students can get up to 10 points extra credit. If a student gets 15 out of 25 or below, they receive no extra credit. For each point over 15 they get 1 extra credit point. For example, a student who scores 19/25 on the final gets 4 extra credit points.

Of course, cheating on quizzes or exams earns an automatic F.  Please decide if you want a letter grade or CR/NC by the last Add/Drop date, Jan 10.
