Annadel State Park, Santa Rosa, CA
November 5, 2005

Today I had a great ride at Annadel with Alan (VTT), Dave (ibisGuy), Dave (8Trak) and Larry (LJ0913). Four of us did the usual 25 mile slowpoke ride, with Larry having to get home early. After that Alan and 8Trak joined me for the bonus loop, an extra 5-6 miles up Richardson and all the way back down North Burma. After all my riding in the Sierras last summer I figured this might be an easier ride. However, it was not. It still has a good bit of climbing and some of the climbing has some steep rocky stuff. The weather was nearly perfect and there were no major mishaps. I had a pretty spectacular fall on the switchback on the Ridge Trail, ending up flat on my back. But other than being embarrassing, it was no big deal. This was Larry's first ride at Annadel and he seemed right at home. Even though you were a bit fast for it, welcome to the slowpoke club. Thanks everyone for a great ride! Below are a few photos.
