Indian Mountain

July 30, 2000

Using an ancient topographic map proved to be a mistake. The roads have changed considerably so we ended up doing and out and back. A little bit was paved but most was a mixture of dirt and gravel. There were many strenuous climbs and most of the scenery was obscured due to forest along the road. Therefore, I only took a few pictures. The 100 degree temperature and hills made it quite a workout. I got a new Fox Float RC rear shock and it performed very nicely. The lockout feature was a welcome addition for those long uphill climbs. We stopped by Jim (a botany student) and Brenda's home in Mariposa, where I took most of the pictures. Here is the map of the route.
