Tahoe Rim Trail and Flume Trail, Lake Tahoe, Nevada

Take me to the video. Today I had a great ride above Lake Tahoe with Dick (Cohenfive), Brad (BRacing), Tom (Rensho), Jeff, and Kip. We took the shuttle to Mt. Rose at 8,700 ft. and then went down the Tahoe Rim Trail (TRT), Redhouse Flume Trail, back north on the TRT up to the Marlette Lake overlook at about 9,000 ft., down the switchbacks and then down the Flume Trail to Spooner Lake for about 30 miles. It was a perfect day, clear blue skies, dry, and perhaps 75 degrees. No major incidents except about 200 yards into the start I was warning them to watch out for two gnarly small creek crossings hidden by dense willow bushes. As the words "gnarly creek crossings" were coming out of my mouth I hit one of them and I did a spectacular endo right in front of everybody. Being a Saturday The Flume Trail was a zoo and we had to stop quite a bit to let others pass. The TRT was also unusually crowded. Here is a map of the trails.
