Here is the new helmet cam setup. Sony DCR-HC 90 camcorder, 0.6x wide angle lens, Bonehead Composites case. A thick Plexiglas plate with industrial strength Velcro on top is affixed to the helmet via tie wraps. The complementary Velcro surface is affixed to the bottom of the case and two Velcro straps are wrapped around the top for insurance. The case opens from the top and once the top is closed, the camcorder fits so snugly that it can not move. Note how all camcorder controls, and even the viewfinder are readily available.
